Protecting your water is hit-and-miss. BUT Is MANUAL inspection your only protection?
For the first time in the UK housing sector, IOT sensors are being used to provide a valuable ‘scald alert’ service that gives Vivid a direct warning of any boiler issues enabling repair teams to respond quickly. We use digital sensors attached to in-flow water pipes that collect and send data via the internet for processing.
Our Artificial Intelligence systems then produce a daily water quality report. The same sensors are also used to send warnings of any abnormal boiler water temperatures allowing proactive intervention from Vivid’s repairs team.
Unique in the social housing sector, our system eliminates the need for manned inspection and helps Vivid provide a faster response while reducing dependency on customers to report problems.
“Our Fernhill IoT project marks the most significant initiative so far in VIVID’s for technology-driven service innovations strategy. Our Fernhill customers will get an improved customer experience and safety reassurances while VIVID will see greater cost effectiveness. We want VIVID customers to benefit from our ability to disrupt traditional housing services models and improve their wellbeing.”

THE SMART THING WE DELIVERED
Wavetrend’s water temperature monitor enables businesses to cost effectively meet their statutory obligations to provide healthy water and safe supply systems.
The emmergence of IOT technology has created a storm of assumptions and myths. Our aim is to pull back the curtain and demonstrate the real world applications and opportunities IOT offers. What better way to do this than to bring our busines to the high street.
